Can I use RENTCafé with my phone?
If you're browsing RENTCafé from any mobile device, you will be automatically redirected to the mobile version for easier viewing. RENTCafé also provides an iPhone App, available for free in the Apple App Store and an Android App available on the Google Play store.
Do I have to register to use RENTCafé
You can browse RENTCafé listings as often as you like without ever registering. When you are ready to apply for an apartment or house you will need to register. Information collected during the registration process will not be shared with 3rd party vendors except to convey information to the properties you are applying to.
What are the benefits of registering with RENTCafé?
With a RENTCafé account you can easily apply to your favorite apartment communities, keep track of your applications and make updates to your account.
Can I easily compare properties?
To compare properties in a search result select Add to Favorites for each property. The property will be moved to your Favorites tab at the top of the results. To see all of the properties you have added, simply select Favorites at the top of the search result. Each time you add a property to Favorites it will be moved from the search result up to your Favorites tab.
What are Favorites?
Your Favorites provides a simple way to view the properties you like best in a single window. Plus, some areas of the country have a large number of apartment communities and houses in RENTCafé. Narrowing down the rental properties that fit your needs is easiest if you add them to your Favorites. You can then review the properties in your Favorites folder to further narrow your selection. Each time you add a property to Favorites it will be moved from the search result up to your Favorites tab.
What is the Send to a Friend link?
Send to a Friend will open a lightbox window where you can input your friend’s email address, your email address and a message to your friend. RENTCafé will send you and your friend an email that includes your message and a link to the property you have selected.
How do I apply to the apartment communities I like?
Select the Apply Now link from the property listing. If you have not yet registered with RENTCafé you will need to do so at this time. If you have already registered with RENTCafé, simply select the link "Already registered? Click here to login."
After logging in, you will be able to confirm the properties from your List folder that you want to apply to. On the following screen you will need to fill out the required information of the application form. The information requested includes standard application questions, such as contact information, current and previous addresses and employment information. You will then be able to review and edit your Applicant Summary before submitting it to your desired communities.
After successfully submitting your application, you can review your application status by returning to RENTCafé and logging in using the Guest Login link at the top of each page.
I need help with the Application process.
We have tried to make our application as simple and straight forward as possible. If you find you need help or have questions, please use our Live Chat or call us at 855-736-8223 (855/RENT-CAFé). How long will it take to hear from the Property Manager?
When you request to Schedule a Visit or submit an application, RENTCafé delivers your information to the property or properties immediately. The property manager will contact you as soon as they're available to verify your request and information.
How do I know if the floor plan I want is available?
After you submit your application, you will be contacted by the property manager at the communities of your choice. Each property manager can give you specific information about the floor plans available at their community.
Do I use the Guest Login or Resident Login?
If you have already registered or started an application with RENTCafé, you can log back in using the Guest Login link to complete, edit or check the status of your application. Once you are a resident at one of the properties, you can return to RENTCafé; and use the Resident Login link to pay your rent online, submit maintenance requests or view information about your account.
Many properties in RENTCafé offer a Resident Services Portal. To access Resident Services, click the Resident Login link. Resident Services allows you to pay your rent online, submit maintenance requests, update your personal information and find out about events in your community. Resident Services is one more way RENTCafé is serving the needs of apartment renters.

I'm not finding properties when I search.
RENTCafé provides an Advanced Search option to allow you to be specific about the features you are looking for in a community. If you’re not finding properties when you search, you may need to broaden your search criteria and reduce the number and type of amenities you are looking for.
What if there are no communities available in my area?
RENTCafé offers apartment community results in most major rental markets. However, there are some areas where we do not yet have rentals. We apologize if there are currently no properties in the area you are searching. We are continually adding new communities and hope you will check back regularly.
How do I add my property to RENTCafé?
Visit the List with RENTCafé information page to add your properties.
